Our fees

Tutor Groups

There are typically 6 sessions in a course and each session is an hour long.

Payment for the course is required prior to the first session.

Each hour session is only £18. This is typically a total of £108 for a course.

This is a fraction of the cost of 1:1 tuition but provides your child with all the benefits of uninterrupted, highly qualified and experienced teaching. All with the added benefit of group based activities that are not possible with 1:1.

  • Our children genuinely look forward to their tuition sessions.
    Professionalism, expert preparation and warm approach has enriched our boy's learning; they have grown in confidence and significantly lifted their grades since we invested in expert tutoring.  

  • Tutoring was key in both boys passing their KS2 SATS with confidence and we see the tutorage as an on-going 'top up' to their regular schooling which consolidates, enriches and lifts their learning across the curriculum.

  • Excellent academic tutor to both our sons aged 13 and 9.
    Tutoring input to our eldest son’s approach to 13+ exams in English and Maths played a big part in his success with recent school entrance exams.

  • The tutor's key strength’s is the ability to explain topics and approaches clearly to children.  This has been particularly useful in helping our youngest son ‘pre-learn’ specific maths topics before being taught them in the classroom at school. This approach has increased his confidence in maths markedly.  Indeed, it’s just resulted in him being ‘moved up’ into a more independent learning group.

  • Both boys always look forward to their sessions, even after a long day at school. That being said, the tutor knows just how to motivate them when they’re tired, even if it means doing a few star-jumps.

  • The boys’ keenness to work is, I am sure, a result of a brilliant teaching style and a fundamental understanding of what makes children tick.

  • In summary, they are the most brilliant tutor for children in the 8-14 age range and, I’m sure, ages either side of that.  We have every confidence in their ability and feel that they have proven to be a great investment in our children’s academic success.

Courses covering multiple areas of learning are not intended for in-depth study. Therefore for some pupils the courses will aid in pre-teaching whereas for others the outcome may strengthen their understanding and serve more as revision.
